This year I got a tad more creative with our Spring mantel opposed to previous years. You already know I am not fond of the traditional spring decor. I knew however, I would figure out something this year, that I did like. Our mantel is rustic wildflowers and birds this year.
I fondly remember my husband’s grandmother’s famous quote “this is for the birds”. I thought of her a lot this year with my bird theme. Of course, her saying never pertained to actual birds.
I added the dried roses. They were from my fresh flower bunch I shared in the Spring kitchen.
The large scrabble block came from Michaels, as well as the spring greenery.
Diy bird art work with a Andy Warhol twist
I think I need more dried flowers hanging. I will have to make that happen.
DIY burlap wreath with wildflowers and moss ribbon
I needed one last something, something. I added the burlap bows:)
What I do like about the mantel this season is I can keep this up well into the Summer season. I struggle with mantel decor, so this indeed is sticking around maybe, until the fall season.
