Hey, Hey there!~
Hope all is well.
I am pretty tuckered out all the way around.
I have been on the go, go, go.
In the next month or so I am going to be swamped with planning, packing, meetings and getting our family ready for our trip to Ireland.
First I want to share all that I have been up to in the past month alone just in blogging.
It’s ridiculous all these crafts I belted out this past month.
They all do look cute though, of course, all done on a dime and that is the best part for me,
and for you…as you too can do the same.
My Valentine decorating started back in January.
I started with the Mod podge
and recycled jars…
and an old recipe book
I really do love this
recycled mod podge recipe vase
I couldn’t stop there with this recipe book and then had to do a
Dollar tree Recipe tray
I really do believe at this point……….
my plate is full…how else would I come up with this cute little project.
my Plate is full Dollar tree decor project
Then I did a few crafts I have never even attempted.
Like these cute
Dollar tree cupcake liner carnation flowers
I do plan on changing out my coffee filter wreath seasonally now.
Valentines coffee filter wreath
I have never made my husbands Valentine
but this year I decided I would get a little romantic
He truly is the key to my heart
and I had to let him know with this little crafty stenciled doily and mod podge wine glass.
The biggest project I have taken on to date
was painting our fireplace hearth.
It has been a long time coming and I am so happy the hubster finally
agreed.
I think my last post now for Valentines
was a little handmade gift to myself.
and that should be a reminder to us all.
Now onto a few tid bits and my announcement.
As I mentioned before I do have a lot goings on in the next month or so.
I am very happy I have a few of you gals who stepped up and will help fill the gaps while I am gone and will be sharing some of your creative work with my friends and readers.
In the meantime, I have made a decision to put the Newbie party on temporary hold while I get myself organized and take care of things.
I just feel
if I can’t dedicate my time and effort into the party for you,
I should not host it for now.
Thank you for being so supportive and understanding.
That is about the only change and cut back I will be making and I do believe that will help free up some time for me in order to wrap things up around here before we go.
I hope you understand, and I look forward to coming back freshened, and ready to resume.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Jessica @ Mom 4 Real
How in the world did I miss some of these? That mod podged recipe jar is soooo cute! I’m so jealous of your trip to Ireland…it’s first on our list of places to go once the kids are both out of the house 🙂 Hope you feel free’d up now…I can’t imagine how much work it takes to put on the party every week, but you are so good at it! Happy planning!

You are all so sweet! Thank you, and thanks for understanding. I still have a month, but there is a lot I want to have organized here at home before hand. You know you just have to be organized when you leave to go on vacation. Not sure why that is, like cleaning out drawers and cabinets, etc….they have to get done.
Nicole @ Mendez Manor
Have a safe and wonderful trip! I look forward to the newbie party when you return!

I still have a month to go…you will see me around in the meantime:)

You absolutely should. You deserve a break – not that it will free up much of your time now that you have a trip to plan for – an amazing trip I must say. So jealous! Just remember to work at a pace where you don’t wear yourself down and end up getting sick. We all tend to do too much and suffer for it at some point!
Jana
Wow, I missed some of these great crafts! Really love them all.

Oh, Debbie, what an exciting time for your family! This is going to be a great trip and, yes, of course you need the month to get ready. There is always so much to do before traveling overseas. I don’t mean to sound like your mother 🙂 but don’t forget to take a voltage convertor with you to charge your small electronics, like cell phones, iPads, laptops… They don’t work very well for hair dryers and small appliances, but when I went to Spain last year the convertor did a great job charging my electronic devices. It sure will come in handy! I wish you guys the best trip ever!
Shannon @ Fox Hollow Cottage
You were a little crafting machine Debbie!! I would be tuckered out too. Good for you! Take a nice break and get ready for your trip without being stressed so you can enjoy it. You guys are going to have the time of your lives :)))
