This Kitchen is seasoned with LOVE
I am all about the kitchen these days!
I have to admit though reupholstering my chairs nearly was the death of me.
My back, neck, hands, all are killing me.
what the heck is wrong with me??? Old age I guess.
And I love my roosters too btw.
but you know that already if you are a regular.
Yesterday I counted just how many I have in this here kitchen. 25….and I am sure I missed a few.
It was fun to play the guessing game on Facebook.
Some guessed 5 while others guessed 50! I bet total I have 50 if you ventured outside as well.
A few weeks ago, I spied this gorgeous printable on The graphic’s fairy website.
LOVE! So I made this for our kitchen and will be printing it to frame.
I made it simple, so it would go in any decor.
So print it up and frame it.
Do you collect anything special? and have you counted just how many you have?
My current state of the kitchen, I have toned it down some!
Although, not that much LOL! You can always see one peeking around somewhere.

The “I hate to redo chairs” club is growing daily. It’s not you….. not old age….. it’s the evil chairs!

Love the Roos. I have a few too. We nicknames our son Rooster and often call him Roo! LOL! How funny is that!

I love this printable! My mother in law is a huge fan of roosters as well!

Cool, print it out, Mother’s day is coming:)

Love roosters too, I have a couple….my husband always calls them turkeys for some reason, I think it is the Jersey City, NJ boy in him. I hate doing chairs especially painting them, they are a killer.

I love what you did with the rooster, so cute. I saved that image, too, hoping to make a sign I’ve had in my mind for a couple of years now. Why do today what you can postpone til tomorrow?! 🙂

Love that saying! Well, I have some roosters….if you include some rooster plates, I probably have about 15-20.
Pinky
Love that printable! I don’t have ANY roos, except ONE white ne that I use for tablescapes:):) You have a great collection. XO, Pinky

How cute! Love it just clippe like that. My mom used to have over 100 rabbits around the house and yard. (Not the live kind). We used to love counting them!
Martina
Love that graphic and love your vintage scale…pretty pretty vignette!

That is a cute way to add art to your kitchen. That quote is perfect for yours! I always forget about the Graphics Fairy. Everyone always find the neatest things on there. I know how addicting collecting roosters are. When I had them in my kitchen, I was always on the lookout for more (as if I had the room).

What did you ever do with all your roo’s Kelly? You had some cute ones too.
Shelia
Hi Debbie Dear! OH, I know you love your Roosters and so do I! I have one just like your amber glassed one. Thank you so much for that lovely print you’ve made. I think I will print it out and use it. If I do, you’ll be the first to know and I’ll give you all the credit!
be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉

Thank you Miss Sheila, it will go wonderful in your kitchen!

That is a fantastic graphic and fits your kitchen decor perfectly. I’m reminded of our Feb. trip to Key West and all the feral roosters running around everywhere! It was such a sight.
Gina
That’s the perfect graphic for the queen of roos!

Hi Debbie, I love your roosters but I would have guessed more than 25. I love the one you recently painted green.
I have a small collection of Pandas. I have never shown before. Maybe I should.
Love to you and the men,
Ginger
Ann
Very cute. Love the black and white. Printables are so hot right now and yours are fabulous!
Debbie
I love your printable! So cute! You have 25 roosters in your kitchen alone? Wow, I knew you loved them but didn’t know you had that many! lol
I guess the one thing I collect that gets out of hand, is tropical house plants. I had over 300 last year (most were outdoors for the summer) before I gave a bunch away. I’m down to around 125, much more manageable…and not so cluttered since I have to bring them in for winter.
Debbie 🙂

WOWZA 300…that is insane!
Cindy
Yes I do and it’s Roosters! Lots of them!!! Sweet print out Debbie…great to have a kitchen seasoned with LOVE!

THanks Debbie for the wonderful printable. I did print it out and will dig out a frame for it. I have a few chicks in my kitchen also. Most of them are on top of the cupboards but yuck they get so cruddy up there. I rotate them now and then. I have one that was my Mom’s from many many years ago. She might have gotten it in OH where we came from before Tucson. She gave that to me when she was cutting back on things to dust. That rooster has seen some country I can tell ya. We’ve moved a few times since she gave it to me and I’ve protected him faithfully. He has one little nick on his tail but otherwise he’s in pretty good shape. I’ll have to take a good look at your kitchen to see all your chickens. Again, thx for great printable. Happy Days
JaneEllen
OH I love that gold colored glass chicken, can I please have it? Where do you get all your chickens?
debbiedoo's
All over, a lot were given to me as gifts.

Debbie, what a great printable! Thank you for sharing it. I love, love all your roosters! Your kitchen always look so pretty and warm. I know what you mean about hard jobs. I have been painting all week and I hurt everywhere! I even have blisters on my hands from holding the rollers. LOL

I love your roosters! I have a couple – used to collect roosters and chickens – but ONLY a couple. My favorite one belonged to my grandma. I used to collect cows and, while I still LOVE cows, I stopped using them in decor because everybody thought they had to buy them for me and I must have had close to 100 cows and items with cows on them! It was getting a little out of COW-trol LOL! Love what you did with your chairs too! I really enjoy recovering chairs – wish I could have come over to help you! I do them all the time and paint the frames (I kind of have a thing for chairs too). Enjoy your “new” chairs and all your clucky little friends! Hugs, Leena

I’m a roo lover too – and new to your blog! Enjoying it immensely!
When we renovated our kitchen (picture a 9 ft wide x 22 ft long blank slate)
I ordered a rooster tile backsplash from ebay! It looks awesome!
And thanks so much for an easy to follow tutorial for re-upholstering chairs….
my goal is to find an small but old solid wood table & chair set & re-do it!

Love your display would fit right in with my decor…
Your comment on how many roosters you have made me count mine and I found 30 not counting the ones I have no room for right now…..I might have a problem.
My kids friends will come in and start counting and then count again the next time they are here to see if I have adopted any more!
