Stencil ceiling medallion
Hi there everyone. Today I am sharing a how to stencil a ceiling medallion around your light fixture.
I have two of these lights in our loft area, better known as my blog and blab area.
I have been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing.
One thing I have learned about myself, is when things are not complete, or in order, I lose sleep over it. Seriously, I do, and it seems to be getting worse as I age.
This was NOT a difficult project by any means. Just a little hard looking up at times, but the process of rolling and drying time was fast.
Nice thing about this medallion is it comes in a half sheet.
So you do one side first, then remove, and do the other side.
This decor on top you see is nothing new, just rearranged and in new places.
The candles came from Z-gallery as did the vintage looking box.
Picture frame was a gift, and the orange flowers are from Pier I.
The wooden piece with the flowers behind my desk is also from Pier I, and I scored that for $25.00 a few years back.
It was steal.
Once the rest of my blogs and blabs area is complete you will see a better picture of it all.
If you are considering any stencil jobs in the near future, I would highly recommend cutting edge stencils.
High quality and very easy to work with.
I was given this stencil for hosting my giveaway.

I used simple craft paint in copper bronze tone.
Applied with a foam roller which comes with your stencil.
DO not over saturate.
Read all instructions thoroughly that come with your kit and you will have the same results.
I recommend a practice run first, on a poster board. I assure you,
it was not difficult and as you can see the end result is wonderful.

I love the medallion, and the color! What kind of paint did you use? It seems to glow like metal leaf.
