Rustic Boho Christmas Decor
Hi there friends! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared anything new around here. Both the boys have been home since Thanksgiving, so needless to say it’s been non-stop here. Mostly me cooking and cleaning:(
I have to say I was getting quite comfortable with the empty nest lifestyle HA. I am, however, thrilled they are home and spending a lot of quality time together.
I didn’t do much decorating this year. Partly because we are only here half the time between having the condo and our main hub, I wasn’t up for all that much.
I incorporated a little boho flair to the decor. I really like the texture and layering one can do when incorporating Boho style.
I can leave the swag of pinecones, beads and macramé up for the winter decor as well. It’s called lazy decorating style.
The Christmas tree is simple and slim. I wish I could say the same for myself these days. Slim, I am not! Whew with the kids being home I am also eating more of the cooking. I was getting used to eating soups, sandwiches, and salads for dinner.
My pictures are not that great. I went to use my camera and it is no longer operating. I suppose because I have not used it in so long. I had to use my phone and clearly, I am not that great at figuring out the fancy options on the phone. Oh well, you get the gist.
You can see my last year Christmas decorating HERE. It was probably a bit more because I hosted our bunco group for a holiday party. There will be no party going this year, sadly. I didn’t do much in our kitchen this year either. Last year it was pretty decked out and you can see last year’s Christmas kitchen HERE. I had some cute napkin valances up that was so cheery.
I spread a tad of cheer at the condo as well. I had the small tree already so it was simple to add. There isn’t much space there for a tree so this was perfect. Next year I will be on the hunt for a small tinsel tree. I think that would go perfectly in the living room there.
I hope you and your families are all doing well. I know for certain we are all looking forward to 2021. For now, stay well and I wish you all the very best, Merriest of Christmas and Happy Healthy New Year.
