Let the Fall crafting begin!
How about I share my First Fall craft idea of the season!~
A few weeks ago I bought these wood plaques from Hobby lobby. I want to say they were $2.00 each.
Not sure exactly what I would do with them. As that is the norm. I never know until it strikes me.
I had this project sitting on our table for over a week before I decided what to do with it.
Did you know you could paint wood with Rit dye?
Yep,you can!
More on that later on.
Believe it or not, I have only taken out ONE Fall bin this year.
I am keeping it light and just getting the gist. I tend to go overboard every year.
Now Halloween, that may be a different story.
This is nothing fancy, just fun.
Pumpkin seeds, twine and tiny orange ribbon rolled for the center of the flowers.
Just a snippet for now.
I will show you more of the Fallified Kitchen soon.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Very cute Debbie! I love the pumpkin seeds as petals idea. I haven’t taken out my fall stuff yet…still holding out (or too lazy). 😉
Kim
That’s cute. No, I did not know you could paint with Rit dye. Cool.

Cute little project, Debbie. Listen, do you see the scary “face” on that tomato? I started laughing when I saw it! xo Diana

I love it, Debbie! Are you going to tell us the black on the wood plaque is Rit dye? Love your flowers and I admire your patience for putting them together! : )

very pretty Deb.. I love the pitcher in the window. I too am following the Less is More..In my fall decor and all over the house. it feels good to look around and not see a bunch of chatchkies every where and knowing I dont have to dust all that makes me smile and breath a sigh of relief.

I’m terrified of Rit dye, honestly i made the worst mess with it years ago so I avoid it like the plague.

That is too cute! Aren’t you clever using pumpkin seeds for flowers!
I give you credit for only taking out 1 box of decor. Every season/holiday I decorate, I always wonder if I’ve gone overboard. I need to purge!
Traci
So cute! It’s still so hot here I haven’t been in the mood to decorate.

I’m not going overboard either 🙂 Love the natural art, and the dye paint!

Very cute Debbie! Love the centerpiece on your table! I haven’t even started pulling my fall stuff out, better get my butt in gear!
Kelly
That is the cutest craft! I love how you made flower petals out of pumpkin seeds and stems out of twine. That would be a cute project for kids at school too using construction paper.
Lori
Love the flowers in the window. Crespedia (billy balls) are so fun to work with. New header too! Like it.
MariaElena
Debbie, your craft is so pretty! I love the idea of the pumpkin seed! Very, very creative!

Pumpkin seed flowers! How cute! Quite creative to think of and I love how simple it is too, and I really mean that in a very complimentary way. I am all about simplicity these days! I also love how your mind comes up with these things. I was trying to keep it very simple too this year but find myself adding more vignettes all around using old stuff. It’s just too fun!
Judy
So cute, Debbie. You have such a wonderful imagination..Happy Friday..Judy
