I want to thank Debbie for having me over today. Of course she isn’t here. She is in Ireland seeing the beautiful countryside of Ireland while I am here sharing my obsession with y’all. Yes, an obsession. There, I said it.
What is my obsession, you ask?
PILLOWS! Lots and lots of pillows.
Love this mix in the sun room. The faded toile ones are my newest find at an antique mall. They just had to come home with me.
This is one of a pair that my sponsor and fellow blogger, Ann made from some vintage fabrics.
Since I started having a fondness for dogs in design I just had to get this little pillow at Scott’s Antique Market last year.
This little pillow with the plaid and toile was found at an Antique shop in Franklin, Tn. last year.
This is a basket of pillows in the master bedroom. See I have so many they are even in baskets.
The pheasant aubusson pillow is a favorite and funny story is it was my sister’s and she took it to a consignment shop and I bought it and didn’t know it was hers. True story.
This was a find on Joss & Main last year.
This rooster aubusson pillow was found at a home decor shop in Alabama several years ago. I saw the shop from the highway and told Mr. Savvy to go back. Poor man has to put up with me.
A mix of Pottery Barn and Ballard’s pillow covers. I really have a lot of PB pillow covers.
And I think just about every southern home has something monogrammed in it. This is another Ballard’s pillow.
This one is from Restoration Hardware outlet and was a steal compared to the catalog price.
I have so many more. There are even stacks of covers in a vintage lidded basket in a guest room and the closets upstairs hold several, too. I told you I am obsessed with them.
Hop over to my blog any time and you will be sure to see more as I like to change some of them seasonably or when a new one comes home with me.
Decorating with pillows is such an easy way to update any room.

You have some beautiful pillows, Kim! You are not alone in your pillow obsession. Sometimes it takes all my restraint not to buy another new pillow when I am out shopping and something catches my eye. Although, I’m no better even when I’m not shopping since I will make my own with favorite fabrics I have in my stash.

I thought I had a pillow obsession until I saw this Kim – you win LOL

Kim, you’re not alone in this obsession. ‘-) I have always loved accent pillows. I’ve stitched many over the years, but have bought even more. My latest trend has been the hooked rug pillows and stenciled burlap.
Enjoyed seeing all your beauties. Great post! ~ Sarah

I had a potential buyer view my home once and she kept exclaiming, when she entered almost every room; “So many cushions” in her cute little European accent. We still joke about that 😉 But hey… they add so much warmth, charm, chracter and comfort! How can you not have room for just one more?
