Today I am sharing
Ideas for Reusing Glass Bottles
Happy Saturday!
What kind of bottles. Wine bottles, soda bottles, any bottles you have.
SO……
to kick off the weekend, I invited some girls over to craft with wine bottles.
They of course had to drink their bottle first.
That made it even more interesting:)
We had to have a little cheese and crackers to go with the wine.
I buy my cheese from Aldi’s and it is so good!
Can you tell Laurian is enjoying this?
Yes, we all were.
We all chose the same color paint.
Louis Blue, by Annie Sloan.
I always hold on to the chinese take out bowls. They are the best for my paint projects.
I bought the cute embellishments at Walmart.
Laurian likes Peacocks, and Jennifer and I like roosters and flowers.
Laurian whipped out this cute little twine bow for us.
It is really cute!
Laurian plans on adding some peacock feathers to her bottle.
Pardon the pictures. By this time in the evening it was 11:00, two bottles later:)
Thanks for stopping by today and hanging with my friends and I.
I told them I will have to take pictures of their bottles final homes.
Notice, I have not shown you mine yet?
Coming soon.
XO

What a fun evening with your girlfriends, Debbie, and I love the bottles you showed. That peacock one will look great with some peacock feathers.
Dawn
Very crafty, and how to have to drink the wine first. LOL
Looks like a great time, Debbie:)

What a cute, cute idea. I really LOVE the white “placemats” you used! The best part of the whole thing, of course, is the fun you had with your friends- xo Diana
Kim
What fun drinking and crafting!! Cute bottles.
Gina
What cute bottles! I bet you ladies had a fun night, drinking & painting!

This is so cool. I love the bottles (especially the peacock one) but really love the whole party idea in itself. What fun! Only I would need some wine decanters around too for the wine to go in while it’s being consumed during the painting process. LOL! Serously, this is a great idea I would love to do when I can find some time to do it.
I also wanted to let you know I’ve finally been able to enjoy your pictures from your sisters wedding. Just gorgeous! I love the bright yellow she choose for her color. It reminds me so much of a picture I have of my mother, sister and me in our coordinating Easter outfits, My dress had that bright yellow. We all had the daisy’s!
I love all the very special handcrafted items that were prepared for her by your mother as well. You can tell by the beautiful expressions on your sisters face that this was a day she will cherish forever. Thank you for sharing all the lovely details with us! Oh and congrats to her as well! 🙂

So fun Debbie. I’m going to try this – after I enjoy the wine of course!
Had to also tell you that I loved the pictures of the Candy table at your sister’s wedding. That’s the cutest thing I ‘ve seen, and you and your mom, and Jack did a great job of making them look so cute too. What a great idea and so different. Looking forward to more pictures.

I knew I kept a million wine bottles around for a reason. The movers were like “do you want us to really pack all these?” Uhm….Yah! Here in VA I can buy wine at Walgreens … anytime I want! Huge perk! Thanks for the inspiration!
Kathy
So if I come up with a project that requires empty wine bottles I’ll know who to call. Sounds like fun!

Such a fun idea Debbie. The bottles are so cute. The peacock must have taken forever to build.

Hi Debbie!
I see you are doing awesome!! I’m enjoying visiting your blog again!!
Karen, Shabby Sweet Cottage, visited me today and when I went to visit her back, I saw she was taking part in a new newbie graduate party. How fun!!!
I haven’t been partying as much as I used to, only one a week, but for you??? I would totally join in!!
I got rid of my followers because it was just such a hassle with blogger constantly, will this be a problem for the party???
So, I just looked at your last party post and I think it’s a fabulous idea!!
When is the link up?
Congratulations to your sister! She looked gorgeous!! And you and your family too!!

Thanks for sharing this fun project. I have been “stashing” some wine bottles away for a future project I’m going to make “someday”. Your ideas are fun and inspirational.
