If someone would have told me last year I would be making cupcake liner carnations,
I surely would have laughed at them.
Not because I don’t like crafting, but because I would have said, HOW in the world do you make those?
Not that I really know how, but, what inspired me was my very own
I thought if I could make that, I can come up with something for cupcake liners.
and I can tell you I am not the only one who has made cupcake liner carnations. I googled it after I was done to see.
and yes, there are plenty.
First:
I crumbled gently the cupcake liner just to make it easier to work with.
SECOND:
I folded it in half, and then in half again…so that is two folds in a regular size cupcake liner
THIRD:
Take the the corner ends of your folded liner and twist as shown…they do not have to be perfect just enough to be able to hot glue to your stem of choice.
As shown, I used sticks from our yard
who would think, but hey they work.
See how pretty they are?
Very simple too!
Once I glued around 4-5 cupcake liners, I poofed them out a bit, and did use a dab of hot glue here and there to glue them together to look more full.
Not bad for my first time.
I am sure I can use some practice with the poofing.
For now I put them in my Dollar tree glassware.
I am pretty sure they will find a new home soon.
Thanks for stopping by today.
If you are not a regular here, I sure would love to see you back again.
