Hi there everyone! Hope all is well. Anyone out there finished up with all their Christmas shopping and decorating? I am pretty much set with the decorating part. Not so much with the shopping part. It’s really hard to figure out what to get our boys this year. They want for nothing, and pretty much are not even asking for anything. That is tough. They like clothes so I think some fresh sweaters and underwear are on the holiday list this year. It’s sort of nice in the sense when they get older, they do not really ask for anything. Not like when they were little and wanted all the expensive video game consoles. I do not miss those days one bit. I miss the excitement of their faces on Christmas morning. I am thrilled our College son is home! It’s been so nice to spend time with him.
Today, I am sharing our fun and whimsical decorating on the porch for Christmas this year. I didn’t go all out. I kept the little Charlie Brown tree out there that I had out for the fall season.
Most all the decor and ornaments are from the Dollar tree or hand made ornaments from years gone by.
Burlap wood ornaments I made last year
Throwing an old pair of Ice skates in the mix is always fun to add to your holiday decor. I lucked out when I found these.
You can check out an older post of mine Decorating with Ice skates for more ideas.
Toy delivery sign I have had for years. Found it at Target I think when we still lived in South Florida.
Only one poinsettia because I will kill it regardless in a week or so.
My pretty painted rockers go lovely with the reds and blue combination this year.
You can see my painted rocking chairs with Chalkworthy paint post here
Wishing you all the very best for the season.

Oh I love that you have a Christmas tree on your porch! I wish I had room for that on mine. I might just have to come over and enjoy yours! It’s so fun having kids back home again isn’t it!

Love your porch; it’s cute, welcoming, pretty and very festive. You always know just how to ‘put it all together’!!! It’s always fun to pull out a piece that you’ve had forever and-all-of-a-sudden, you’ve got a new look. Another fabulous job Debbie.
