Hi there everyone!
Today, I am sharing our Carolina home Christmas tour 2013.
I really did not think I was going to be able to pull it all together for you, but I managed to get some snaps in and do it today. Just wish we had a sprinkle of snow to set the scene…
Welcome…
Our Christmas porch is always the most fun for me to decorate.
I won’t keep you out here too long, although, we are having unseasonably warm temps this year, so far anyway.
This year I definitely wound up doing way more crafts than I had planned on.
I think I have turned into a craftaholic in a sense. I really do love it, and crafting just relaxes me. I tend to be a little more energetic, can’t sit still type, or perhaps just an adult with ADD. I don’t say that jokingly either btw.
Our Charlie Brown Christmas tree
this year by far was my favorite. I had quite a few of you email me and say, they went to get one and Target was out.
I am betting next year they have plenty. It was a popular little tree for sure.
I did only a few Christmas vignettes here and there and to me, I kept it simple, opposed to years in the past.
I envy you ladies who go all out!
Our Christmas mantel was pretty simple this year as well. I kept in keeping with the burlap theme and added dollar tree ornaments and decor, and had things from past years. Except for the little wooden toy soldiers, those were new and cute as cute can be.
How about we head on into the kitchen. I have not shared the kitchen at all really.
Just a craft or two, or three
after I made my homemade chocolate I thought I would keep the pan out and add some Christmas cheer.
I always think from the outside looking in, the neighbors must think what the heck is all that stuff in the windows.
It looks cute from the inside, but not so much from the outside.
I like to decorate the windows with Holiday cheer, and things I make.
I bought these cute handmade snowflakes from my hairdresser. She was selling them and raising money for the Humane society here in town.
I love blue, and I love that these were for such a good cause.
This here craft free subway art printable mod podged on a dollar tree plate,
I made a week or so ago, is definitely my personal favorite.
I made lots of little vignettes just to get the gist.
my diy frosty Christmas mug was a big hit, my friends want one too. I can make them one next year, much too tired
and a painted roo I did some time ago.
A very special rooster recent Christmas present. How cute is he, and just perfect in our rustic kitchen.
Another Christmas present,the Rooster tray.
my friends know me so well.
I filled my chalky painted Santa mason jar with flowers.
And I would say this concludes Christmas 2013
Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy, healthy New year.
XO
If you are not a regular here, I sure would love to see you back again.
