Y’all it has been years since I have purchased anything new for our front porch. Although I have always enjoyed the now rusty, paint-chipped bench HERE and at one time our painted yellow rocking chairs HERE.

The chairs rotted away and the bench I was even afraid to sit on. What good is a Southern front porch if you can’t even sit out there? Especially these days more so than ever I needed another space to enjoy. It was all about bringing a cozy warm feeling out on the porch to enjoy.

Everything that came in my Spring box I was smitten with. Personally I think it is fitting for almost all styles, whether you are a little bit country, cottage, boho, rustic, farmhouse, and traditional. The feeling I was going for was to bring the indoors out.

The brushed black lantern is unique in the sense it is all open. I have never seen another like it. I had fun playing around with her pretty designed magnets. You can use them as intended or find other fun ways to display them. They came along with the uniquely designed chalkboard.

I am not one to use things as intended, as you know this already if you have been around for a while. I love layering, so that is what I used the chalkboard for now, at this time. I am sure I will change things up.

I just want to sit out here all day long with a good book, sipping some tea during the day, and maybe a glass wine during the evening. I have plenty of pillows to keep me comfy and included in this box were two beautiful blue pillow covers. Even the beautiful watercolor artwork you see on the back wall was designed by Kelly and in this month’s subscription box.

I wonder how Kelly knew Blue is my favorite color? Kidding aside, it is the perfect shade of blue for the season and right on into the Summer.

No matter the hue of the blue, they all seem to complement one another. I will leave some of my projects link as well, for example front door painted, sidelights stenciled, haint blue porch ceiling.

This burlap bag is the bomb! It would be great for the beach, or a quick run to the grocery store. However, I loved the quote and thought it is just perfect for a warm welcome to come on inside.
