Well, let me tell you, I am in some SERIOUS love here.
Black furniture painted duck egg blue with Annie Sloan chalk paint
Not lust, we are talking LOVE, true love.
Sure wish I was getting paid to brag like this, but I’m not!~
I ordered this paint just a couple of days ago, and today it arrived.
I thought I would test it out on a night stand in the guest room.
Did I mention I did not prime or sand?
No need to with this paint.
Did I mention I did not prime or sand?
No need to with this paint.
I wasted no time to get started.
Seeing I am working on the master, I may as well give the guest room a perk me up too.
The BEFORE boring black
The during….
Of course it is still in the process of drying, but boy does it dry fast.
No drip, clean up was a breeze. I can’t wait to distress the piece. I will say for this little quart it was 35.00, and I bought the set of three brushes.
Oh and I did NOT buy the book. If you know me, I don’t follow instructions anyhow.
This paint goes a LONG way,
I barely put a dent in the can and I did two coats on this piece!
Duck egg blue
Thanks for stopping over today. There is plenty more to browse through.
Enjoy and do come back again soon.

Hi, where did you buy your paint online? I want to use it so bad but I can’t find it for $35:(

It’s more now, I used this paint when it first came out 2 years ago. There now is a new line of chalky paint that I really love and is pretty much the same as this. It is called AmericanDecor Chalky paint and they sell it at Home depot. If you have your heart set on Annie Sloan there probably is a local vendor in your area, just google it.

Hi Debbie, I love the color of the walls in the bedroom, I am trying to match Restoration Hardware paint color “Cappucino” but can’t find it and don’t want to pay $112/gallon.

Have to tried going to RH for a swatch? They may color match at another paint store.
