We are on a final count down here, as our Ireland trip is fast approaching.
PINCH me, I really can’t believe it.
In the meantime, I want to share a cute, quick Spring embellished lamp.
You know I have a thing for embellishing lamp shades…
This one, however, was totally copied and inspired by a Facebook post that led me to a pin, that led me to this site
Chateau Chic
I just had to copy have it
After all I had everything on hand.
Seriously, look how cute that is.
Burlap,moss and eggs.
I just formed the moss into a nest, and hot glued it the burlap
Easter is just around the corner.
Can you believe that?
I added a little spring color to my Spring cloche
And of course, my mod podge recipe jar, got a little Springified
While I am at it…I never got a chance to show you my NEW OLD chippy cabinet that my FIL gave me some time ago.
NOW this is the real deal.
You can paint all you want, and try to make something look rustic and chippy, but I don’t think anything will ever come as close to this.
I know you have seen my stenciled tea towel a thousand and one times.
There it is, I spy my recent Mixed Media butterfly art that is aimlessly walking around with no where to go:)
Thanks for stopping by today.
If you are new here you may want to check out my diy gallery with lots of other fun and creative ideas.

The lamp is adorable! I completely agree that there is nothing like the real deal when it comes to old, chipping layers of paint. I have looked for that stencil in Hobby Lobby since I first saw it on your blog, but with no luck. I just love it and never tire of seeing the projects you’ve created with it.
You’ve inspired me to put some Spring touches in my home.
I’m so excited for you to go to Ireland….that’s on my bucket list since both of my grandmothers were half-Irish. Take lots of pictures so I can live vicariously through you!!

Didn’t know you were going to Ireland. I have been there twice and I can’t wait to go again. The people are wonderful and the food is great! If you go to Dublin get a ticket for the bus. You can go all over the City, stop wherever you can and get back on – one charge. Have a wonderful time!!!!
What a pretty Spring time vingnette!
Cute as a button! Yup- this just says spring and Debbie. 🙂 I sure wish spring weather would make its appearance. It’s been a long winter for a lot of us.
Cute Spring decoration on the lamp and that piece of furniture is perfect with the time-worn look. How lucky can you get? Have a fun and safe trip.

I love the lamp shade. I have 4000 boring ones around here that need a new spring “do”.
And the chippy cabinet is wonderful! You are right that it would be nearly impossible to replicate that.
Debbie, your lamp looks so pretty! What a beautiful idea! Your trip is almost here! I know you are excited! I attended a friend’s wedding in Ireland, many, many years ago and I fell in love with it. Beautiful country, great food and such nice people. You are going to have so much fun!
