Hi there!
And welcome to Debbiedoo’s Magazine copy cat challenge!
if you are new here and you have NO clue what this party is all about.
Let me fill you in real fast.
You find your magazine image inspiration, and you simply copy it!
Of course, it does NOT have to be an exact. In fact, it is fun to see your own fun twist on it.
So without further ado, let’s get to this months party.
Here is my inspiration
{bhg}
My favorite photos are always my outdoor ones, so I try to find things I can do outside.
One thing I do, is incorporate all of the elements my inspiration provides..in this case, flowers, paper products, and the red white and blue color scheme.
I look around for things I already have, and just change them up accordingly.
This challenge should never cost you a lot of money, really if ANY at all!
This is just how easy it is!
ENJOY!
Have fun visiting other participants!
Please add my button or link to your post.
Thank you as always for joining in.
It sure would not be much fun without ya!

Beth
Hi Debbie, I love your take on the BH & G tablescape! Very nicely done, and a fun party! What I’m wondering is how you got such a nice, clear photo from the magazine. I had a magazine page and simply photographed the page but it didn’t look so great – fuzzy, not sharp. Did you get your pic from BH & G’s website rather than a hard copy of the magazine?
Thanks, Beth
debbiedoo's
Yes, Beth, I copied it from online.

Great copy cat Debbie! I like yours even more. I didn’t get a chance to to it again, darn it! Hopefully next time.

I so wanted to participate in the challenge this time around and just couldn’t get it together. The weather here is totally bizarre– two days ago it was 97. Today it’s 49 with a cold rain. I am freezing with a darn fleece on! Miffed at the world today until I found some inspiration in blogland! Your party looks great! I had my idea all ready, but needed to finish with some spray paint and it didn’t happen. I’ll try to be ready next month!
Miss Kitty
Love your Copy Cat BHG patriotic table setting! :{ This is the first CCC I have missed having an entry for. Some of my best posts have come from stretching my imagination for the CCC. This month has been crazy busy for me but I want to get back in on the action next month.
Debbie
There’s not a piece of it that I don’t love. The copy catting is just great. I love anything outdoorsy and red, white, and blue.
Next time, I AM going to remember to do one. Hrmph.
Peggy @The Decorating Files
Your table looks great! I love creating table settings from the dollar store. I did “Bella Notte On a Dollar” on my blog a couple of weeks ago. This look like so much fun! I must join in on the next one! How often do you have this party?
debbiedoo's
I do it once a month.
Shari @ Turnstyle Vogue
That is a FUN table! Hard to believe the 4th is right around the corner, isn’t it? I’m excited – I just linked up two projects 🙂 I love this party! Have a wonderful weekend!

Jodi

Betsy
Thanks so much for hosting this fun party Debbie. This is my first time here, sorry I’m late:-) Love your red, white, and blue festive table. The covered cans as flower vases are adorable.
Bliss
Opps I did it again….. I thumbed through magazines this morning and thought I better check to see how long I have for my FAVORITE party. So I missed it – darn me anyhow. But guess what? That’s ok because I found not one, but two things to make, so I’m going to make them both in the next month and then be ready for two month’s worth of magazine copy cat challenges. HA! Won’t catch me late for the party for the rest of summer.

You are so funny Bliss. I only keep it open for a few days…because it gets lost in the shuffle otherwise. I think the first two days are when it is hot. I am glad you found some inspiration for a the next two!
