DIY Painter tarp curtains…better known as drop cloth. Truly this is the easiest project ever. How cheap too!
Painters tarps make the best curtains.
After I did Jack’s room,
I decided Alex needed some window treatments as well.

Bought the canvas at Walmart for 9.97. This was the perfect size |

Taped off the drop cloth for the stripes
Used a traditional paint brush and painted away within the tape lines.

For less than $40.00 I have my own custom made curtains. I am in the market for a new comforter for Alex’s room, I want something a little more rustic outdoor looking.

This is an old post and my son’s room has since had a boys teenage bedroom makeover.
Kept the curtains though.

Oh, he is going to be at universal on Saturday, the weather will be great! Love the curtains! You crafty girl!! I always forget about painting fabric or even stenciling with paint on fabric, got to try it!

I wanted to try the drop cloth curtains. I ended up finding some panels for $5 though. They are canvas so I can probably still try it. HMMMMMMM

Love the curtains Debbie! I am always amazed at all the creative ways people use dropcloths. I had to laugh at the pictures of the boys.. I knew exactly what they had. My son is a huge Airsoft player. We have big "wars" on our property all of the time. It's been a fun hobby for him. Thanks for linking up to Inspiration Friday!

How did you attach it? Are there grommets in painters cloth? I haven’t used them in a ton of years so I was trying to look at your pictures to see lol
I used curtain rings with the clips I purchased at Walmart.
