Hi there friends! Oh my goodness. I feel like it has been forever since I have crafted.
I love making my own Christmas ornaments every year. Even though I have no clue what I am doing with our tree, or trees, or a new tree, I felt inspired to make some rustic farmhouse Christmas ornaments.
These are so simple and so cute I hope to inspire you to make some us well. I will be leaving the download for you at the end.
First you need some plain wood ornaments. I found mine at Amazon in a pack of 10. They were only $7.99 for 10 of them. That is less than $1.00 a piece! Can’t beat that.
You can find those HERE on Amazon (affiliate link)
Next you will need Mod Podge HERE . They have so many formula’s to choose from. If you want something with a little sparkle or sheen, you can find that formula as well.
Next you will need some white craft paint. You can use any craft acrylic.
There are so many directions you can go with these diy rustic farmhouse ornaments. If you want them neat and sparkly, or on glass, do YOU!~ I wanted a little more rustic weathered look.
First I painted them white and let them completely dry for one hour.
I then cut out each image. I cut as neatly as I could possible, even around some of the detail. I leave enough room in between each ornament to do so.
Then I painted on a coat of Mod Podge, and adhered my image, rubbing out gently any bubbles. I let them completely dry for two hours before going over them. Once they were completely dry I took a little sand paper and lightly sanded each one.
I am really happy how they turned out. I had a great day crafting and realize how much I miss it. Starting my own business on Home Pressure Cooking has taken up so much of my time. I do enjoy it that as well, but I feel crafting will always have my heart first.
The ironic part is of all this, I think I have turned out to be a better cook than crafter LOL! I never was fond of cooking.
Pin it, make them! Enjoy.

On my Home Pressure Cooking website, I recently shared a cute mason jar gift idea. Feel free to check that out as well HERE
My stencil line is still going strong. Some are being discontinued in the New year so hop on over while they last.
I plan on keeping the rooster gather here, the market cow and a few others.

Great idea. My nieces and nephews would have fun doing this. The crazy thing both of the printers in our house went kaput, so that deep sixes that idea.
