Hey there! Remember back in the Spring when I shared the Spring art on burlap? I kept that art work up all through the summer. But summer time is long gone in my mind. Although, the temps are no where near fall like quite yet.
Today I am going to show you how to make your own fall owl art on burlap.
Easy as 1,2,3. That’s just the way I like it and I know you do too!
I had the frame already that is just a cheapo frame from Walmart that I painted an off white color. I figured it was neutral and that way an easy change out per season depending on what I make.
Supplies needed:
Burlap sheets
Mixed media burlap cut outs (Hobby lobby)
Craft paint (Walmart, Michaels, Hobby lobby)
owl Stencil (Hobby lobby)
Sponge brush (Dollar tree)
First I stenciled my little owl on the mixed media burlap cut out piece. I slightly mixed two colors. My copper and orange and lightly dabbed. I had a piece of plastic underneath in case of bleed through.
Then on my larger burlap sheet I took the same stencil and did the greenery in the each corner. I love this owl stencil because you can layer the look any way you like it. I also added the branch under the owl, and that too was all on the same stencil sheet. I want to say this stencil was only 3.99. Not very much at all.
This fall season will indeed be all about the owl. Isn’t he cayute? Dollar tree of course.
If you saw my fall porch, and fall mantel, and no sew owl pillow now you see it’s all coming together with the owl theme this season.
If you would like to purchase these items to make your own, I have linked directly to the source. That will be at the end of my post.
I am not affiliated in no way and this is not a sponsored post.
If you are new here. Welcome. Hope you have a minute or two to gander out my gallery of ideas.
I will be sharing a kitchen fall tour hopefully soon. This season has my head spinning with excitement.

Dear Debbie,
I have a burlap lampshade. I tried vacuuming it and it just brought up the fibers. I also tried a lint roller and it did the same thing. Any ideas on how to clean the lampshade?
I Enjoy your projects.
-Thanks.

Pretty darn cute, Debbie. I love the look of burlap for fall. I once made a burlap curtain for a door window and made a design on it must by pulling certain threads out of it and tying some of the threads together to create the design. Wonder what ever happened to it? That was only a thousand years ago! Wish I had the pattern, though. Maybe I’ll research “burlap art”!
