Rise & shine!
Today, red is sharing 5 + Holiday inspired decor ideas, recipes and more!
The redhead is sneaking in today from redheadcandecorate.com to share some holiday inspiration.
It’s not easy getting in the mood for the holidays.
After all, some of us really don’t have the energy, money, or time.
Hopefully, I can help you with a little of that here today.
Lets start with decor from the dollar store.
Here’s my 2012 Affordable Christmas Table.
Most of it came from the dollar store, or my yard.
View more of my table “here“.
Next up, my “Outdoor Decor“.
Black ice skates may be easier to find at the thrift store.
When I first saw them I thought, “Oh darn, they’re black.”
Glad I pondered longer.
When you get your tree this year, don’t throw away those pieces your hubby cuts off.
Save them for your mantel, table, or this “Swag Wreath“:
Just gather with twine, and hang.
How about recycling some old lights that don’t work?
“Recycled Christmas Light Ornament” can be found “here“.

As for food…I have you covered for the appetizer and the pies.
Our family never shares a Thanksgiving with out “Stuffed Celery“.
Its easy to make, and everyone loves it.
Even the kiddos.
(you can spread it on crackers too)
And last, but certainly not least…
My easy pie crust recipe.
This pie crust is made in the pie plate in 10 minutes.
There is no mess, no rolling, and it tastes just like Grandma’s flaky crust.
It’s great for pumpkin pie, pecan pie, Dutch apple…any pie with out a top.
Pie crust recipe found “here“.
Here’s proof…I just made this “Cranberry Pecan Pie” last month.
It is fabulous.
Recipe found “here“.

I have been on the hunt for a pair of thrifted ice skates for a couple of years now. I will find them, one day, I know! Hopefully this year, before Christmas, so I can use them in my decorating!!
xo Kris

I loved seeing all of these ideas done on a budget! The nice thing is they don’t LOOK like they were done on a budget though. Loved the table setting and the door greenery swag.
Thanks so much Kelly!
I like those ideas which or easier you implement and are within the budget. Your ideas are simple and effective, thanks for sharing.
