100+ Stencils to use for Home Decor
Hi there friends!
In case you are new here, welcome to Debbiedoo’s, better known as the stencil queen. I have been stenciling way before the time stenciling was even such a big deal. Most of us can remember those hideous stencils of grapes and vines back in the early 90’s. Yes of course I used them in my kitchen and loved them. Then came the vines that I not only stenciled everything in site, I had to use faux vines to decorate around the windows, on top of shower curtains, on top of cabinets, and wherever else a vine could swag. UGH, looking back I am even embarrass myself.
Needless to say stencils have come a very long way. A few years back I designed my own custom stencil line and sold them on Amazon for a few years. I changed direction for a while in my creativity and let the stencil line phase out. I do have regret on that because since then I have seen others more or less inspired by my ideas and stencil line, and make them into their own custom line. I am actually happy to see new custom designs out there. The way of e-commerce is all about creating, and a lot of times creators see and idea, and make their own spin on it.
I have to say I love a lot of the designs others have come up with I plan on using in the new year to get creating again some more home decor and gift ideas.
Plus, there is a lovely variety out there, under $20.00, whereas I can buy a few and mix and match. After awhile the same stencil 100 ways I was even growing tired of. Although, I must say I found new ways of using my stencils. The entire line was a joy to have, but now it is time to pass the torch. Everything I have shared in my gallery can be made with the stencils, tools and accessories I am sharing here today!
My current picks listed below are for you to get you started making signs, pillows, trays and more. Not only am I including the stencils I love, but all the supplies needed to get you started. The ideas I will share in my gallery are all for your inspiration along with the tutorials. Remember, those stencils used in my gallery are no longer available.
First you need the basics. Once you have your stash of supplies you can make endless custom home decor, gifts and more of your own. Supplies at your fingertips helps the cause.
