How to Mod podge on terracotta pots

I have to tell you all I have never been much into crafting.

mod podge spring terra cotta pots

DIY terra cotta Spring Pots

Now let me say….I love MOD PODGE! it was such a fun and easy project.  I already had the terra cotta pots, all else I needed was my herbs.  Ran over to Walmart and picked up three herbs I thought we would like….here is my finished little project.  I thought these would be cute for Mother’s day gifts, teacher gifts or just a nice to have you as a friend gift.  Even party favors with name tags…the possibilities are endless I will be making more this week.

First, things first.  I like using the Matte finish.

Supplies, scissors, paint brush, magazine clippings.

Any terra cot pot will do

I used colorful inspiration pics for a pop.

I also found inspiration quotes I liked.

Nothing like using fresh herbs when you cook.

I even made the cutest little tags using mini craft clothes pins, and then I made my own labels

All the magazines came from my dear friend Elke who sadly had to move back to Germany.

This picture was taken the night before my friends where moving back to Germany.  Elke had been crying for a solid Month straight, it was very emotional. I miss you Elke and family!~XXX000

It is so sad when a good friend moves away. Just not fair.

Now modge podge queen. Paint and podge what will she do next! If you like monograms you can use it on those cocktail napkins with your initial and the paper part fades away and just leave the monogram.

    Just thinkin'
